During this time of discourse, AAEM urges policymakers and public health authorities to protect the integrity of the evidence-based vaccine schedule and ensure that physicians and patients have access to clear, accurate, and scientifically sound guidance.
The American Academy of Emergency Medicine Board of Directors has been closely following recent health related current events, specifically those related to vaccine recommendations. We stand with other healthcare professionals in practicing evidence-based medicine and simply state that vaccines prevent disease and save lives. We support their continued use to protect the health of individuals and communities.
