To the Emergency Medicine community,
We were all devastated to hear of the tragic shooting in Uvalde, Texas. Unfortunately, this comes on the heels of recent shootings in Buffalo, New York City and Laguna Woods, California.
Our organizations all condemn this senseless act of violence and loss of life. Our hearts go out to the families of these victims as they mourn the loss of their loved ones.
We send our support to the entire healthcare team caring for the influx of patients, including EMS, police, nurses and physicians.
