FAQs
Where can the training be held?

We bring Emergency POCUS Training to your hospital, urgent care center, clinic, simulation lab, military facility, or even rural or resource-limited location. Training can be done in a facility or a regional community center.

Are ultrasound machines provided?

Course machines will be arranged through our trusted vendors. Sites may use their own machines if desired.

What is the minimum number of participants required for a course?

For learning and workshop efficiency, we require a minimum of five participants in a course but can accommodate a larger number of participants.

What does the host site need to provide?

Hosting is simple. To ensure a smooth, high-quality course, please provide:

  • Space for group learning and scanning stations
  • Ultrasound machines if desired (otherwise we will arrange with vendors)
  • Electrical outlets at each station
  • Cots or exam tables with linens/towels for each group
  • Basic AV setup (projector/screen, HDMI or VGA connection)
  • Live scanning models (1 per station)
  • Hand sanitizer and gloves (S/M/L)
  • A small sign-in table
  • Light refreshments for attendees and faculty

We’ll handle everything else — including faculty travel, curriculum, and training materials. We can assist in procuring all necessary equipment.

What are the requirements for a live scanning model?

A live scanning model can be a paid or volunteer simulated patient. The model must have normal anatomy and be comfortable with being scanned as part of the workshop. If preferred, participants may act as models, switching out between exams.

Will participants earn CME?

Yes. All eligible participants can claim AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™.

How far in advance should we book?

We recommend booking a minimum of three months in advance to secure your preferred date, especially during peak CME seasons. Sooner dates may be accommodated based on instructor availability.
