The program is designed to promote growth in the field of Critical Care, particularly in leadership development, medical education, professional development, research, or content production. AAEM-CCMS offers various ways for mentors and mentees to collaborate, including:
- Writing an article for Common Sense
- Getting involved in the AAEM Scientific Assembly
- Recording an episode of the Critical Care in Emergency Medicine podcast
- Creating a Critical Care Hack video featuring a brief (3 minutes or less) tip or “hack” for different critical care medicine topics
