In 2026, the American Board of Emergency Medicine (ABEM) will launch its new in-person Certifying Exam, replacing the traditional Oral Certification Exam.

This next-generation format includes simulation-based encounters, procedural assessments, and communication scenarios — testing not just what you know, but how you perform under pressure.

AAEM’s Certifying Exam Review Course is your chance to experience this format firsthand: a one-day, in-person simulation built to help you prepare with confidence.

Train the Way You’ll Be Tested

Experience realistic exam scenarios, personalized feedback, and hands-on simulation, all modeled on ABEM’s publicly available exam framework.

Your day includes:

  • Two full mock exams featuring clinical and structured interview cases
  • Personalized examiner feedback after each case
  • A group debrief to strengthen performance
  • Hands-on experience with manikins, ultrasound, and computer-based cases
  • CME credit and participation certificate

The best time to rehearse the exam experience is before you’re being graded on it.
