Requests for refundable deposits will be accepted until June 21st. No refundable deposits will be processed after this date. If you would like your refundable deposit back, please email at info@aaem.org.

Member Rates
- AAEM Members: FREE with a $250 refundable deposit
- AAEM/RSA Members: FREE with a $175 refundable deposit
Non-Member Rates
- Physician: $825
- Resident: $250*
- Medical Student: $225*
- Allied Health Professionals: $825**
*Residents and students will be automatically registered as AAEM/RSA members for the 2023-2024 membership year (pending eligibility).
**Allied Health Professionals such as physician assistants, nurse practitioners, registered nurses, and EMTs are invited to attend AAEM23!
International Visitors – Passport and Visa Information
To visit the United States, you must have a valid passport. For many participants, letters of invitation help smooth the visa process. AAEM wishes to support international attendees in their efforts to secure the needed travel documentation. In order to receive a letter of invitation to AAEM23, AAEM must be assured that you intend to attend the meeting if your travel request is granted.
Individuals that require an official letter of invitation in order to obtain a visa and authorization to attend the meeting must:
- Register for the meeting
- Request a Visa Letter of Invitation by sending an email that includes the information listed below to AAEM Membership Manager Erica Pollnow:
- Full Name and Designation
- Company/Institution
- Email Address
- Address
- City
- Country
- Passport Number
The letter of invitation does not financially obligate the American Academy of Emergency Medicine organizers. Expenses incurred in relation to the meeting are the sole responsibility of the attendee.
Please note that AAEM cannot guarantee that you will receive a visa. The decision to grant visas is at the sole discretion of the embassy/consulate. The meeting organizers cannot change the decision of the governmental agency should your application be denied. Due to the costs involved, we cannot send letters of invitation via express mail services.
Advance travel planning and early visa application are important. It is recommended that you apply early for your visa.
