Student & Resident Travel Grant

Embark on a pivotal journey in your medical career with the Student and Resident Travel Grant. This initiative is designed to empower the next generation of emergency medicine physicians by providing crucial financial support and mentorship opportunities.

Grant Purpose: This grant is specifically tailored to enable your active participation in the Emergency Medicine Advocacy Summit and AAEM on the Hill Day, taking place in Washington, D.C. on June 2-3, 2026. It offers a rare opportunity to engage directly with legislative processes and key policymakers, ensuring your voice and the concerns of the emergency medicine community are heard at the national level.

Benefits of the Grant:

  • Financial Support: Receive $500 to cover transportation and incidental expenses related to your participation.
  • Professional Growth: Work closely with AAEM leaders, board members, and renowned figures in the field, including past AAEM presidents.
  • Limited Availability: Five (5) grants are available to highly motivated students and residents.

Eligibility:

  • Current member of the AAEM Resident and Student Association (AAEM/RSA)
  • Committed to attending the Emergency Medicine Advocacy Summit and AAEM on the Hill Day events
