LEARN MOREInternational Visitors: Passport & Visa Information
To visit the United States, you must have a valid passport. For many participants, letters of invitation help smooth the visa process. AAEM wishes to support international attendees in their efforts to secure the needed travel documentation.
Individuals requiring an official letter of invitation in order to obtain a visa and authorization to attend AAEM26 must:
- Register for the meeting, and
- Request a Visa Letter of Invitation by email Roxanne Dobbs, Education and Program Manager.
Your email must include:
- Full Name and Designation(s)
- Company/Institution
- Email Address
- Mailing Address (including Street, City, State/Province, Postal Code, and Country)
Important Notes
- The letter of invitation does not create any financial obligation for the American Academy of Emergency Medicine (AAEM); all expenses are the sole responsibility of the attendee.
- AAEM does not guarantee visa approval; the decision rests entirely with the embassy or consulate, and AAEM cannot intervene if your application is denied.
- AAEM does not send letters of invitation via express mail services.
- AAEM strongly recommends advance travel planning and early visa application.
