Accreditation Statement
This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the accreditation requirements and policies of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) through the joint providership of the American Academy of Emergency Medicine (AAEM), King Faisal Specialist Hospital and Research Center-Jeddah (KFSHRC-J), and the Saudi Society of Emergency Medicine (SASEM). AAEM is accredited by the ACCME to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

The American Academy of Emergency Medicine (AAEM) endorses the guidelines for continuing medical education programs as set forth in the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME). This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the accreditation requirements and policies of the ACCME (includes the standards for commercial Support). AAEM maintains control over the development of its educational programs and the selection of topics and presenters.
A full disclosure of relevant financial relationships is required of all faculty members and the presence of any such relationship will be reported to all program attendees. AAEM defines relevant financial relationships as those relationships in which the individual benefits by receiving a salary, royalty, intellectual property rights, consulting fee, honoraria, ownership interest (e.g., stocks, stock options or other ownership interest, excluding diversified mutual funds), or other financial benefit.
