This competition is designed to recognize outstanding research achievements by young physicians in emergency medicine.
Submission deadline: Monday, November 1, 2021
Withdrawal and revision deadline: Withdrawals and revisions must be received in writing to firstname.lastname@example.org by Wednesday, November 3, 2021. No changes can be submitted after that date.
Notification of acceptance: The presenting author of all abstracts submitted will receive notification of acceptance or rejection in February 2022.
The top 4 abstracts will be selected for oral presentation at AAEM22 on Tuesday, April 26 at 10am – 12:30pm. All other abstract submissions are invited to display their research as a poster. The presenter of the oral abstract judged to represent the most outstanding research achievement will receive a $1,000 honorarium, while second and third place will receive $500 and $250 honoraria, respectively.

Abstracts published as an article on or before November 1, 2021, may not be submitted. Abstracts that have been presented at the national meetings of other organizations may not be submitted. Abstracts that have been presented at international meetings may be submitted. You may submit this abstract to future conferences and publications. Abstracts currently under consideration for other conferences or publications may be submitted.
Any studies involving human subjects must conform to the principles of the Declaration of Helsinki of the World Medical Association (Clinical Research 1966; 14:103) and must meet all the requirements governing informed consent of the country in which the research was performed.
Abstracts may be used on AAEM Online for continuing medical education purposes. All authors and contributors will be appropriately credited.
