Plenary Speaker Highlight - Winters

 

Biography

Dr. Winters, a Professor in the Departments of Emergency Medicine and Medicine, is a leader in the fields of critical care and resuscitation in the Emergency Department. He is editor-in-chief of the textbook Emergency Department Resuscitation of the Critically Ill and he is the founder of the EM/IM/Critical Care Training Program at the University of Maryland Medical Center. He has developed and taught courses nationally and internationally and won national education awards from AAEM and ACEP for his critical care teaching.
