Biography

Dr. Moiz Qureshi is currently faculty as part of the Associated Harvard Medical Faculty Physicians at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston, Massachusetts. He completed his undergraduate education and medical school as part of the combined 6 year BA/MD program at the University of Missouri in Kansas City. He went on to complete his residency in emergency medicine at Penn State Hershey Medical Center, where he simultaneously also completed his MBA from Penn State's Smeal College of Business. He then moved to Boston to complete a fellowship in Disaster Medicine at BIDMC and Harvard Medical School. Dr. Qureshi has a longstanding history of service with AAEM and RSA. Having first joined as a medical student and serving as Vice President of the RSA Student Council and then serving on the RSA board for 4 years as member at large, President and Immediate past president. He is currently the Treasurer for the Young Physicians Section and aspires to continue to remain part of AAEM moving forward. In 2019 he was awarded Resident of the Year by the organization for outstanding contributions to the specialty as a resident. When not in the ED, Moiz enjoys being an adrenaline addict, jumping out of planes, skiing steep slopes, and other heart pumping adventures.
