Onsite Details

Make the Registration Desk your first stop!

Check-in at the AAEM Registration Desk located on the Pool Level of Caesars Palace in the Palace Tower. Pick up your registration bag, final program, and attendee name badge. AAEM staff will be on hand to answer any questions. Check-in early and beat the rush!

The 25th Annual Scientific Assembly kicks off with Opening Remarks at 12:45pm in Forum 12-14 on Sunday, March 10th.

 


Conference Notes

  • The AAEM19 mobile app will have the most up-to-date information. Please be sure to download it before arriving onsite. Details on how to download are below. 
     
  • Evaluations will be on the mobile app this year. Navigate to the specific session within the mobile app to complete the evaluations. Ask a Medical Student Ambassador or visit the AAEM registration desk with questions. Please complete evaluations for each session you attend as well as the overall event surveys.
     
  • CME: CME certificates will not be available onsite. You will receive an email within 30 days to access the CME self-report system. You can print or save your certificate at that time. In addition to the email, you can also visit our CME page.
     
  • Registration Deposits: At the conclusion of AAEM19, members have the option to donate their refundable deposit to the AAEM PAC, LEAD-EM Foundation, or have the full amount credited back to them. If you would like to donate, complete the pink form in your packet and return it to the registration desk. Otherwise, the deposit will be automatically credited back to your payment method within 30 days.
     
  • Spring Ahead! On Sunday, March 10, 2:00am clocks are turned forward 1 hour to
    Sunday, March 10, 3:00am local daylight time instead.
     
  • Conference attire: Business casual. Please bring a light jacket or sweater as temperatures may adjust in meeting rooms. Comfortable footwear is recommended.
     
  • Meals: Breakfast, lunch and dinner are on your own; most venues are easily accessible by foot.

 

Selected Lectures will be Available on AAEM Online

Many lectures will be recorded and included on AAEM Online. All sessions being recorded are denoted by a (•REC) in the final program or within the "recorded session" track on the mobile app. Look for these lectures and featured Breve Dulce talks to be posted online this summer. Members may watch, listen, download for FREE! AAEM15, AAEM16, AAEM17, and AAEM18 are currently available. Visit AAEM Online today!
 

AAEM Physician Group

The leadership of AAEM-PG will be onsite at AAEM19, ready to answer your questions, provide more information, and work one-on-one to take the next step. Feel free to stop by the booth near the AAEM Registration Desk and pick-up some materials. Also, one-on-one appointments are available if you're interested in becoming part of AAEM-PG. Travel Information

Hotel Check-In

Check-in time is 4:00pm. Early check-in is available (prior to 3:00pm) for an additional $30.00 plus tax. Check-out time is 11:00am. Departures after 11:00am are subject to the full day charge.

 

Transportation from Airport to Caesars Palace

Caesars Palace does not provide a shuttle service to/from the airport.

There are many transportation options available at the Las Vegas McCarran Airport. Click here for information regarding shuttles. The commercial shuttles will take you to any of the Las Vegas hotels. The shuttle companies charge approximately $6.00 to the hotels on the Las Vegas strip and about $8.00 to downtown (estimate).

At Las Vegas McCarran Airport, there is also a designated pickup area for ride share services such as Uber and Lyft in the parking garages in both Terminal 1 and 3. The process for using Uber and Lyft are once you have collected your bags, open the Uber or Lyft app and select your terminal. For Terminal 1: Head to Level 2M of the public parking garage. 2019 AAEM Candidates' Forum

The Candidates’ Forum is a moderated session where all candidates running for the board of directors will give statements and respond to questions from members. All members are encouraged to attend.

Town Hall Meeting

Simply visit participating exhibitors in the exhibit hall March 10-12, 2019 to fill your passport with verification stickers. After you’ve collected all stickers, drop off your completed passport book at the AAEM registration desk.

Passport books turned in prior to the daily drawing will be eligible for a series of prize drawings for that day. Winners will be directed to the designated exhibit booth to collect their prize.

30 days following the conclusion of Scientific Assembly you will be sent an email with an online link to report your CME information. Following the completion of that form, you will be able to print your certificate. View instructions for DOs.
