CAL/AAEM Update

- For your National and California Health Care News -
Free, Electronic and Available to all Emergency Physicians across North
America
by Boris Lubavin, MD
Executive Director, CAL/AAEM
All AAEM members - Californians or not - are invited
to join the CAL/AAEM News Service - a free electronic mail subscription
service currently serving 220 emergency physicians. The
news service provides its members with an average of 1 e-mail
message every 2-3 days with information relevant to the practice of Emergency
Medicine (EM) as it pertains to California as well as National Health
Care issues related to EM. CAL/AAEM monitors multiple electronic
news lines and discussion lists (AAMC, AHA News, California Healthline,
EMED-L, etc.). We select the ones that are most pertinent to EM and to
your practice to keep you updated. Messages are typically not moderated
and include no comments. We only forward the news, acknowledge the source
and do not consider this a discussion group or service.
All interested people are encouraged to sign up. This is a free
service run by our volunteers. You can unsubscribe at any time. To become
part of the mailing list or if there are any questions, please send your
name and e-mail address to our News Service Managing Editor Brian Potts
at bpotts@uci.edu
