2013 Board of Directors Election Results

MILWAUKEE – The American Academy of Emergency Medicine (AAEM) announces the 2013 election results for the AAEM board of directors.

 

The American Academy of Emergency Medicine (AAEM) announces that Kevin Beier, MD; Mark Foppe, DO; Robert Suter, DO MHA; Andy Walker, MD; and Leslie Zun, MD MBA, were elected to two-year terms as at-large board members, and Michael Pulia, MD FAAEM, was elected to serve as the Young Physicians Section (YPS) director. The YPS director position is a one-year term.  

 

Dr. Beier is a physician at Middle Tennessee Medical Center in Brentwood, TN. Dr. Foppe is a staff physician at JFK Medical Center in Boynton Beach, FL. Dr. Suter is a Professor and Director in the Division of Emergency Medicine at the University of Texas at Southwestern in Dallas, TX. Dr. Walker is an attending emergency physician at Summit Medical Center in Hermitage, TN. Dr. Zun is a Professor and Chair of the Department of Emergency Medicine at Chicago Medical School and Mount Sinai Hospital in Chicago, IL. Dr. Pulia is an Assistant Professor in the Division of Emergency Medicine at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health.
