AAEM's official journal, The Journal of Emergency Medicine, has its own home page on the Internet. It is part of the Elsevier complete online catalog, which can be accessed at http://www.elsevier.com/locate/jemermed. The home page includes a description of the journal's content and audience, the editors and editorial board, guide for authors, as well as a table of contents.

The Journal of Emergency Medicine is also part of the Elsevier ContentsDirect program. Anyone can receive the table of contents of The Journal of Emergency Medicine for free, via e-mail, in advance of journal publication by signing up for this service at http://www.elsevier.com/locate/contentsdirect. All you need to do is register one time. Next you have two general options: (1) scroll to the bottom of the screen and enter the journal name in the search field and press the "search" button, or (2) press the "show journals" button next to the Clinical Medicine heading, check The Journal of Emergency Medicine box. Click on the Add Selections button.
