Call for International Volunteers - Ebola Treatment Center
International Medical Corps is responding to the Ebola outbreak currently in Liberia, and we are building a new Ebola Treatment Center in Bong County, Liberia in order to keep up with the rising caseload. We are looking for experienced physicians and nurses in good personal health who are willing to help staff the Ebola Treatment Center.
We need individuals who can commit to 6 weeks, given the long travel time and the need for a week of training in the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and management of Ebola patients. Physicians or nurses who will be available for a 6 week rotation some time in the next four months can email me their CV at email@example.com and I will forward it on to the International Medical Corps recruitment office. We cannot accept any residents or medical students, and much prefer physicians and nurses who have experience responding to prior humanitarian emergencies or working in low-income countries.
