MedPartners Changes Name, Reflecting Divestiture of PPM Assets

According to a September 13,1999 press release, MedPartners Inc. has changed its name to Caremark Rx Inc. to reflect the company's change to focus on its core pharmaceutical services operations, as it has substantially completed the divestiture of its discontinued physician practice management lines of business.
