The American Academy of Emergency Medicine Virginia Chapter board of directors would like to invite you to join us for a fun-filled FAMILY FRIENDLY educational event, “Dive into Resuscitation at Great Wolf Lodge.”

This event will be focused on resuscitation and is open to all emergency physicians, emergency medicine residents, medical students, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, and paramedics/EMTs. This conference will provide updates on cardiac arrest, post-arrest management, sepsis, pediatric resuscitation, ultrasound, and trauma by a distinguished speaking panel including:

  • Dr. William Brady, a nationally renowned expert in emergency cardiac care from the University of Virginia Health System
  • Dr. Mike Winters, a national expert in critical care from the University of Maryland School of Medicine
  • CAPT Andrew Johnson, an expert in pediatric emergencies from Naval Medical Center Portsmouth
  • CDR Lanny Littlejohn, Director of the Combat Trauma Research Group, Naval Medical Center Portsmouth
  • LCDR Matthew Lawrence, Emergency Ultrasound Director, Naval Medical Center Portsmout
